I see no lie in what he said.Stop trying to creatve controversy

This!!!

To me it sounds like hes saying to take in some advice. Doesnt mean u have to comform to EVERYTHING and become a product

Unless an artist doesnt care the slightest about charts... they do well to at least hear out the label cuz, they understand marketing better than most artists do!

dont forget he's been unsuccessful in real life (shaded bullied no one interested in him as he says )  before his carrier so that' will be a part of his personlity, he will always have that  complex of inferiority and feels the need to show and prove to people that he is good by overdoing

definition :

An inferiority complex is a lack of self-worth, a doubt and uncertainty, and feelings of not measuring up to standards. It is often subconscious, and is thought to drive afflicted individuals to overcompensate, resulting either in spectacular achievement or extreme asocial behavior

And why when someone on their top of the game (him, chainsmokers, etc) become such an egocentric? Are they eaten by the fame?

I specifically want to know why once these white, mediocre men have the smallest bit of undeserved success choose to constantly go after successful women in an industry that historically and, for many, continues to treat them like sh*t. It really speaks to the concept of privilege and mediocrity being passable for certain demographics...:trollga:

He's knows what he wants, what's wrong with that? Some people don't play around. If he finds happiness in his success (who doesn't?), I don't see the problem.

You guys talking about his appearance are ridiculously judgmental and hypocritical.

if money and success is what he wants then I don't see what's wrong with what he is saying.

in gaga's case, she wants to make music that she wants to make and be happy. it's just a different mindset.

Spoiler

and just admit it, y'all agree with what he says :usrs:

This unfkable ginger troll needs to takes several seats. Longevity>>>pandering to the radio. The best thing for an artist to do is to continue to put all their soul and passion into their work which will hopefully result in a loyal fanbase that will last through the years. This heffa seriously thinks if he listens to his label he always gonna be on top? Every artist flops eventually and those who rely heavily on casual top 40 listeners  always get hit the hardest.

Just look at Beyonce, she hasn't had a big hit in years yet and is more successful and respected than ever. All of Kanyes singles flop yet he still one of the most talked about and acclaimed artists of the current generation. Daft Punk releases a fken album once a decade and still manage to maintain a strong fan base and continuing presence in music.

Ed Sheeren's 'relateable white guy with a guitar' schtick is entirely replaceable so he should be quietly enjoying the spotlight while he can instead of speaking out his money hungry ginger ass.

Ohh so he's also about ratings and being number one... no wonder he and Katy had that awkwardly tense interaction during her interview.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

No wonder why his music is so basic.

i'm listening to his new album on track 11,

it's so dull and sounds outdated so far. There's no spice in the sound. it seems a few steps backward....

He's the true form of bling not the music. That's why his songs are pretty much the same. His album names show that he doesn't take risks
