I remember as a kid I had a weird obsession with ghosts and magic spells (I would read spell books on white magic and stuff - I don't believe it but it was interesting to me) but I kinda knew that most kids didn't find the same thing interesting. I also had a friend who was weirdly obsessed with the weather but it wasn't something that interested me, at least not to the same degree. I think you have to approach artists you like in a similar way. People have different interests in music - they don't necessarily appreciate the same things you do and in a similar way there are probably artists and genres you dislike because you don't appreciate the same things that fans of those artists/genres do. Anyway, one of the things I love and appreciate about Gaga is that at her best she is polarizing and transgressive. It would be a little contradictory for me to be excited at how subversive and provocative her work is and at the same time expect that everyone will respond positively to her work. Whenever someone says somethimg nice about Gaga, we jumo to support them and make threads about them etc. And when someone criticizes her, it's always 'lol who cares what people think' and whatever other bullcrap. It's simple, people like other people liking what they like. People don't like other people not liking what they like. If you're lumping me in with this I never said it never bothered me that's why I mentioned how long I've stanned gaga because it used to but like I said the worse of the backlash is over for her and it really doesn't bother me anymore and also I don't go looking for it like looking at comments and **** so idunno what to tell you if people say that don't like her or her music that's fine I don't like artists either so I get it I also like people and bands that are not popular so gaga not being praises 24/7 doesn't bother me but again if someone is just making fun of her and **** yea that's a different story but no one in those tweets really did that they just said they don't like her Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
