Huh? There's no such thing as the "main day". They have big acts headlining every night at Glasto. Pretty sure Beyonce headlined on Sunday and Coldplay did last year as well.

It's usually reserved for the biggest artist, no? I know when Beyonce headlined it was an exception but I thought it was widely regarded as the day artists usually want to headline?

I could be wrong but I've honestly never heard to it being referred as that and I normally watch it every year

It's not like a thing that's announced or anything official. It's kinda like everyone just knows that's the high point or like climax of the festival? I usually go to the festival like every other year haha

Huh weird I've never heard of that. Maybe among the festival-goers it is cos it's Saturday which I guess is naturally the most convenient day to be at a festival. I don't think they book it like that though and I certainly doubt Gaga would turn it down just because it's Sunday instead of Saturday.

Yeah I am! I was pretty confident that she was headlining until Foo Fighters were announced on Saturday, my confidence has honestly dropped to like a 10%, Ed Sheeran is probably doing the Sunday.

Bet they are going to watch the reaction to her Coachella performance to decide. As well as Ed Sheerans success with new album. Lol, i don't mind Kasabian, but i think Gaga would be a better headliner, she'd most likely bring more audience?

She needs that UK promotion, this is really necessary. I'm sure people will look up her 2009 Glasto performance and see she killed it.

Also she has Mark Ronson and The guitarrist from Queen Stone Age. I'm sorry but there's nothing wrong in using your connections to hype people and secure the spot.

 It would be so amazing. Especially this year which feels like a major revival in her career, Glasto would be amazing for her in the UK just like the SB was for her in the US

But yeah thinking about it, Ed is pretty likely. Which is annoying (to me, at least). I was only really thinking about it so confidently because of her comment on Alan Carr.

Glastonbury is not confirmed tho and I'm honestly starting to assume that it isn't happening 

But all the other huge gigs she got this year would be enough for anyone, that would just be yet another cherry on top!

to be honest I'm quietly optimistic that Gaga has a shot at the Sunday headliner, I mean Ed is the other very likely person, however there has been a *HUGE* amount of twitter uproar over Reading/Leeds Fest because of the lack of female performers.  doubt Glasto would want to risk getting the same backlash by having a male dominated headline line-up so I think that puts Gaga in a good position!
