Perfect Illusion

Then John Wayne and Dancing in Circles

I was expecting John WAyne to be very different like someone said above, i expected John Wayne to be slow. Well i did swapd John Wayne with Sinners Prayer because that was how i imagined John Wayne, but more old country

Sinner's Prayer definitely had me intrigued. It was one of my favorite Joanne songs on first listen, but now it's much harder to rank them since I love them all! But I voted SP.

I also was intrigued by Diamond Heart, Come to Mama, Just Another Day, and John Wayne as titles.

AYO because a new listener would say, "I wonder what that's about!"

Sinner's Prayer because it just sounds cool. One of those analogies where two opposite words come together. Like freezer burn... or ARTPOP :hor:

Sinner's Prayer. I fell in love with this title right after release of the tracklist, and then I fell in love with this song. You all claim that SP is coutry song. Actually I don't know how country sounds. I've heard a few country songs in the past and I was not into them. But Sinner's Prayer is what I live for.
So I can say, that country became interesting music for me, what is kinda weird, but I don't care. I enjoy the music and y'all should as well ;)

I always thought of SP like cowboy music, not country music, but like 1870-1910 type, with the horses and stage coaches and saloons :D so hard to find similar songs tbh

Folk is what you're talking about... well, depending on how which type we're talking about

Traditional folk was popular in Europe and the South in the 1800s (and early 1900s), and it basically meant the culture (sort of ironic) from "uncultured classes"

"The terms folk music, folk song, and folk dance are comparatively recent expressions. They are extensions of the term folklore, which was coined in 1846 by the English antiquarian William Thoms to describe "the traditions, customs, and superstitions of the uncultured classes."

I thought Angel Down was going to be this dark dance bop a la Alejandro :awkney:

But I love the real version. I was surprised, but definitely not disappointed.

Oriane

Dancin' in Circles, I didn't know what it meant so the title sounded very mysterious to me.

And Grigio Girls, I don't know much about alcohol so I didn't know Pinot Grigio, so this title was very intriguing.

REALITY

I was definitely intrigued about Sinner's Prayer when I first saw the tracklist. Perfect Illusion, when it was first announced, got me so hyped too! I just think it sounds like an amazing song name!
