Firstly if she actually jumped from that height (it was incredibly high) she would of had safety equipment on, something around the waist at the very least. Secondly the way she descended onto her podium was in a very controlled manner, if she had actually jumped she'd of literally plummeted into the stadium, which in reality would of been terrifying.
