I love how it's divided equally between the singers and they go back and forth. And the vocals from both of these ladies are just spectacular! Couldn't have said better Gaga x JeffHardy x BillMaher

Denys 848
Florence and Gaga delivered although it's not even in my top 5 from Joanne but it's certainly my best bridge after ARTPOP's iconic bridge. Let's just agree that Gaga writes the best bridges in the industry now

blackcoffee 1,264
This thread makes my heart so happy! ❤️ Nice to see some love for this great song around here Joanne has become my favorite album of hers, right before BTW, because the album is so cohesively good. The whole album, for me at least, is songs that range from 7/10-10/10, nothing below. "Hey Girl" is definitely not my Top 5 from the album, but it's still an amazing track. It's laid back with euphoric synths that are a total throwback to groovy music of the 70s/80s. It's so dreamy and kinda hazy, just like a great night out where you need that "Hey Girl" kinda friend. Then there's Florence...she's just perfect (I've seen Florence + the Machine perform three times; I just LOVE them). Pitchfork had it right when they wrote up about this song for their song of the week. http://pitchfork.com/reviews/tracks/18581-lady-gaga-hey-girl-ft-florence-welch/ With proper promotion, I think this song could actually do well as a single...hear me out...it's got that chill, laid back vibe that is SO IN right now (it's crazy how popular "chill" music is right now) and those groovy synths are such a throwback (compared to Elton and Prince) that I think people would really dig it (especially considering how popular Prince music has been since his death). I would prefer it to DIC, that's for sure. Maybe send to alternative radio too, where Florence is more known, and Gaga can become more crossover, like Lorde (and I'm biased because I mostly listen to alternative radio). Nirvana 2,713
It's one of the best songs from Joanne and I would love a music video! But I have no idea how it would do as a single...
