We basically had to pick out 3 possible topics and then poll the class to see which they would be most interested in hearing about. But, at the end of my proposal I flat out said "I don't care what any of you vote for I'm talking about Gaga for 5 minutes whether or not you like it." And went back to my seat like a b*tch. I want to know if they nicely veiled their obsession with Gaga or they flaunted it through writing even if the topic is not about Gaga. Something like: California produces the highest GDP compared to the other states in the United States (NY times, 2017). Their GDP is comparable to a small country like Italy. Italians are very talented. Lady Gaga is an Italian and she is a pop singer goddess that makes millions by creating music and lives in California (GGD, 2017). She released her newest album Joanne named after her Italian aunt. (Buy Joanne in iTunes, Google Play, and stream it in Youtube and Spotify.) She also recently performed during the Super Bowl 51 Half Time show which she has been planning for since she was 4 years old (GGD, 2017). Lady Gaga is a "talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique" artist (Lady Gaga, 2015). Her performance during the half time show received rave reviews most especially when she descended from the heavens and snatched weaves by controlling flying drones (twitter stans, 2017). These are some of the Million Reasons™ why the GDP in California is so high because Lady Gaga saved pop music.
