Elizabeth 450 Posted February 23, 2017 Share Posted February 23, 2017 So, I potentially have the opportunity to write about Gaga for my dissertation topic, It wasn't something I had thought of until recently when I had a meeting with the honours coordinator at my uni and he told me it was 100% a viable topic to write about, and something I should seriously think about. I'm definitely considering it, but I just want to know if any of you guys have written academically about Gaga and what your experience was like, especially if you've written about her for an assignment or anything in a tertiary institution? I basically mentioned how social media and celebrities go hand in hand, and how they influence their fans to purchase things. Guest Posted February 23, 2017 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Back in high school we were discussing feminism in our English class and we were asked to write a 10 page essay about a feminist - needless to say that I went for Gaga and even quoted 'Scheiße' which kinda turned my teacher into a fan.
