Alex C 254
I'm so happy about this mature discussion. Tbh, I was kinda put-off on posting here, due to the whole Joanne bash from "fans" who STILL don't get that she is a true, timeless chameleon artist that will change every era. OR (I don't want to offend anyone), I see PI bashing from people that became fans during ARTPOP (???) and hate BTW (???). I would like to encourage NEW fans and stans to listen again carefully to her discography from the first album, and also, -I cannot stress this enough- her old interviews, which show integrity. On Topic: Perfect Illusion is my favorite 1st single from an album, and one of my favorite songs in history <3 Very Electric Chapel meets Bad Romance in a BTW-light way! I still listen to it every day! EDIT: Okay, I am also a messy queer who lives for drama, so here is my PetPeeve: I am THIRSTY for a Born this Way 2.0, but for current political themes. BTW was the first album which focused on LGTB and being yourself, and everyone followed. Now that our society becomes more conservative, it is imperative that Gaga must put out a political album against the global conservatism, scare tactics and BS that float around. Not so much about Identity Politics anymore, but more hippie-but-radical Anti-Capitalist propaganda. That would make me bald. Perform Living

Not since the Radio 1 Co-hosting thing when the album was released. She hasn't done any press In the UK either, so no wonder it isn't charting. She needs to get the song on an advert and then do Graham Norton and Alan Carr. Thing is she has had adverts on the telly here and was on Alan Carr (which kind of went unnoticed I think) she did X Factor and Royal Variety too! Just not sure our radio over here can be bothered to play her a lot of the time now. It would be good if she could do more promo over though! OP: Amazing song, probably my 2nd fave lead single. I do think the song could go further though, like there's a small peice missing, maybe like a pre chorus or something

John Slayne 4,154
everything about this song is perfect I hate GP and their basic taste for letting this iconic masterpiece of modern music flop
RochestrMonstr 3,191
I've loved it since it came out! When Joanne came out, PI moved towards the bottom at first, but I still loved it. However, it has worked its way back up and I definitely consider it a favorite.

How does Work and Hotline Bling get so much play, and now CTTR, but gaga just flops? especially in UK. Million reasons isnt even charting. Seashell Hooker 1,413
People just went into this album wanting to hear something completely different, causing the single to suffer. Unfortunate because it is a great lead single and a highlight on the album. Aphrodite Lady ~ Seashell Bikini
