I remember being so hyped for 'the next song after Burqa and Applause' that I played this for my mom. So many memories.

The beginning of the ARTPOP era had so much potential  I remember seeing this on TV and my brother actually liked the song too :toofunny:

I think that it still sounds very current. If she released it this year it would smash tbh

Tbh, now that I think of it, all the reveals or teasers during the ARTPOP era were mind-blowing. The era had so much potential but the chaotic marketing and distribution killed the potential.

iTunes Festival was the perfect teaser for the upcoming music from the new album. But the finish became more chaotic than harmony which leaves many questions that even fans were asking. We know that ARTPOP was said to be the different highs of Gaga's emotion throughout her career and life. But some tracks were sorta over-produced.

The snippets she revealed though Radio ARTPOP were amazing. But as we all know, 20 secs doesn't tell you how the whole track will sound like because they will have 2 or 3 hooks in one track that resulted in the chaotic feels.

Applause was a nice debut but it was rushed release after it was leaked. So it killed any potential plans Gaga had for its initial reveal.

DWUW BLEW MY MIND when it was previewed in this ad. I had never heard Gaga sing in such crisp precision and now we know why. She said she will practice again and again until she knows the song inside out in order to sing it like this. One of the best songs she created.

Let's not mention the app because we know it was someone else's idea and Gaga was trying to make it more authentic and less about the money.

DWUW would've been #1 if it weren't for what happened.

It's a potential global smash. Everyone that heard it loved it. The beat, the groove and melody is so infectious

The synth intro.... ugh. It commands attention. This song deserves to be an iconic part of Gaga's career.
