When I first saw it back in 2011 I enjoyed it but wasn't totally slain, I felt it was perhaps too disjointed and fed the scraps of TEOG's original concept. But watching it now so many years later? I dare say it's among my favourite Lady Gaga videos, at least in the Top 3 for me. The cinematography was absolutely breath-taking, the plot about trying to change yourself for someone/breaking in the process/being fixed and embracing what you are is really beautiful and it's given me some of my favorite Lady Gaga looks... and it's only taken me six years to realize it. On the other hand, I loved Judas at first but over five years later and I'm not feeling the video (or the song to a lesser extent) as much as I did back in 2011. I love the sexuality, the boldness, the strangeness, the choreography, the mood everything about that video is beautiful. Love the song now too.
