Canada has a military base there too keep an eye on Russia who breaches territory without explanation with alarming frequency However the Government has taken note that long winters with no sunlight has resulted in mental illness and depression among many soldiers To combat it, the military base will add sweing clubs, activities and goodie treats/deserts, beers (on off duty hours) and tanning beds to keep up morale.
