djBuffoon 12,123
"John Wayne" is so. f*ing. good. It's like a great mixture of Joanne's country bent, Born This Way's dirty rock, and The Fame's fabulous dance-pop.

"Oh let me give this one a 3.13 point review and that other one a 7.17 point review... oh wait.. should I use less decimals??!" They are talking about the Joanne album not the video. They're kinda right though. Bubblegum pop (also known as bubblegum music or simply bubblegum) is a genre of pop/rock music with an upbeat sound contrived and marketed to appeal to pre-teens and teenagers, that may be produced in an assembly-line process, driven by producers and often using unknown singers. But this song was not produced in order to appeal to teenagers. The song is more influenced by rock and house music. It's more like dance-rock if you want to label it. Bubblegum reffers to songs like Eh Eh, or many of Britney's early stuff like BOMT or Sometimes. They are extremely catchy.
