teenagechrist 2,853 Posted February 17, 2017 Share Posted February 17, 2017 I love him, I used to listen to him every single day when I was in highschool and I used to spend hours and hours and hours reading things about his art in www.nachtkabarett.com/, watching interviews and tours and stuff. He is a genius and his work is something everybody should listen to and analyse. The Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, Holy Wood trilogy is a true masterpiece. My favourite album is Mechanical Animals but it used to be Holy Wood, I also consider POAAF, Antichrist Superstar and The High End Of Low (yes, The High End Of Low hahaha) to also be my favourites from him. He is probably one of my favourite artists along with Gaga. Without him I wouldn't think like I do today. His image, lyrics and whole controversial imagery is not meaningless and has a lot of depth in it and that's why I like him the most - I spent hours and hours on interpreting what he is trying to say and finding all mysterious things & "easter eggs" in his stuff. Moreover I love the fact that he tries to be innovative with his work - like special bonus track on Mechanical Animals which could be played only on the computer, what comparing to the meaning and idea behind the album is just a genius idea. I got to see him 2 weeks ago for the first time (he started new tour where he plays some stuff from his upcoming album, couldn't see him earlier because he played 5 years ago in my country and I was too young to attend back then). I am glad I got to see such an awesome and creative artist even though I didn't have opportunity to witness his glory days in 1998-2001 (was too young ).
