That agency has hundreds of people working for them and dozens of top level agents. Gaga would NOT have to leave CAA. If they had a falling out, Gaga could simply request a new agent. He's a member of her team of agents at CAA led by Rob Light (partner at CAA, chief musical agent). Since CAA is representing her worldwide and in every aspect, there are several agents that work on her projects depending on the field. Cristian Carino is responsible for endorsements, sponsorship, and commercials. One more thing: she's dating a person. Before you start throwing stones into that relationship based on occupation and age, just remember Celine Dion and her husband her manager Rene. Love works in mysterious ways. Of course, why not? The goal is to sign the biggest names and make money. This isn't a bunch of junior high girls we are talking about here. These are professional adults, who want to make money to support their family. They aren't going to get all wound up in some relationship spat.
