Republicans are planning to put a lot of unpopular policies on Trump (repealing Obamacare, privatizing jails, slashing social security, decreasing taxes on the rich, slashing bank regulations, limiting voter rights, reducing privacy, increasing military spending), impeach him and act like it's all Trump's fault. Pence is just a regular republican, yes he would fudge some stuff up, reverse gay rights and stuff, but he is an actual politician that knows the real boundaries of the job, he wont hurt allies relations and would be way less corrupt and actually in control, he isnt as easy to influence by people like Bannon.
