2010 - She performed with Elton John, though it is a masterpiece of a performance.

2015 - She performed with Tony Bennett, and it is my least favourite performance oh hers.

2016 - It was a Bowie tribute, and plus it has officially been credited as a Gaga + Nile Rodgers so technically not a solo performance.

2017 - Gaga + Metallica (btw this performance is actually growing on me quite a bit).

2011 - Only time she has ever performed solo at the Grammys, and one of her most iconic moments ever.

I am not complaining because I love all of these performances, but I just realized this.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

These collaborations are more fun and what the Grammys should be about.  If more people did this it would be amazing.  The grammys feel too much like promo when it should be a curated show of crazy ideas and great performances.

The Metallica one has grown on me a lot. Lady Gaga actually sounds perfection them, wow.

Same. The performance itself isn't bad, it's just that the technical issues took the focus away from the actual music and actual performance.

Kinda amusing given how little she collabs with other artists on record.

She's singing with legends, though, I mean, Metallica, Elton John, Tony Bennett, and she did a tribute for David Bowie. I love that Gaga has such a great relationship with legendary singers. It shows that she's genuinely interested and has such an amazing passion for music.

I was thinking the same yesterday. I like her performances/collabs, but I would also like her to show/expose her music on that stage. Katy Perry, for example, have performed at the Grammys the same number of times that Gaga and she even have sang non-singles songs.

Is tragic tbh...one of the biggest platforms to promote your music and we get messy tributes.
