Scalpers aren't a new thing

POP2

Featured Posts

I hate to break it to you guys but Scalpers aren't just a "Joanne World Tour" thing. In fact, it's odd that this hasn't happened before to Gaga's tours. Some of the biggest tours the past couple years have had scalpers grab the tickets before the fans. Coldplay, Beyonce, Adele, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus:sweat:, and Drake all had these issues. The hotter the tour, the more scalpers will divulge their money... Take it as a compliment really. But seriously, this is nothing new and it's not "ruining the tour", it's only making the tour seem more successful. :classy:

PS... Bots aren't a thing:poot:

Yeah the same exact thing happens to every big tour, it wont mean empty arenas, everyone will buy from the scalpers

Still sucks though (as a first timer)

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

This pretty much. If it's close to the show, the tickets will be cheaper and people will buy them. If not, the scalpers end up going themselves. The arenas and stadiums will be packed.

Obviously but it's frustrating  none the less ya know ? I'm older and we used to have to line up to buy tickets hahaha🙈 the Internet has changed all that and it's so much harder now. Oh the days of standing for hours to get tickets in the heat and rain haha

Is there a way we can track the number of resales? Like through Ticketmaster or something?

Mindblown

The resale of tickets are insanely high. The nose bleeds for my show originally were $45 and are now reselling at $127 with fees. This will be the first tour i'm skipping, $127 isn't worth the worst seat in the stadium.

Don't give up just yet. There might be a release of additional tickets as the dates draw closer, and the resales will also go down leading up to the show.

If it's a stadium, don't worry.  Tickets will be released later.  I once snagged tickets the day of for cheap for a stadium tour.  Stadium tours are easy to end up with tickets down the road for reasonable prices.  It's arena tours that aren't as easy to get tickets cheaper later, but even that happens.
