ARTPOP Gypsy 3
Yes you may girl! XD We'll give 'em hell all day! I'm seriously considering getting some of these to wear too: http://www.ebay.com/...=item2eb342a920 If I'm gonna be accused of being a satanic Gaga worshiper then I might as well dress the part. Oooh shade! Lol!
Americano 31,061
Good luck to Indonesia on getting more pop singers to come there after this debacle. Embarrassing for them
Navy 495
Hope this is true. Waiting for the Moon to confirm it too.
Navy 495
I'm disappointed in gaga that she decided to cancel tbh :( She's all about sticking up for yourself & doing what you believe in. She should eblieve in continuing this concert. It's not fair to the fans.

ARTPOP Gypsy 3
Just saw this on the E! Channel here in the U.S. as well. I'm sure they'll be more about it tomorrow too and on HLN news too. They've already mentioned it this morning on their channel. Waiting for Indonesia's tourism to plummet to be honest.
pink sushi 4,351
I'm so relieved that it got canceled. Of course it sucks for the Indonesian fans but I'm sure they would rather have her ALIVE and unharmed than die coming over and performing there...... Those threats she was receiving were pretty disturbing. Whether or not they were really planning on attacking her or they were just empty threats....it's still nice to know that she's safe. I'm really annoyed with people saying that she should have gone on with the concert. U would definitly be regretting that if something happened to her. Sure the religious extremists won in a way. They kept Gaga away from their country, but their ultimate victory would be killing Gaga and ridding the WORLD of her... Gaga's life is just too precious to risk.... giskardsb 12,565
If the government and police forces would have stood up to the fpi at the start and guaranted security the show would go on. As it was there was no show of support and only obstacles. Not worth it.
lugh121 50
The more I think about this, the more likely that I think Indonesia just didn't want to take the risk, even with all those officers at the show. There's still no guarantee of complete safety. If Gaga got killed at that concert, the fans, America and the world would NEVER let Indonesia forget this. Their police force would be criticised for not making things completely safe, the government would be criticised for not throwing the FPI in jail as soon as they made these threats and the entire country would have this incident hanging over them forever more. "Indonesia - the country where Lady Gaga, the biggest pop star in the world at the time, was murdered." They likely saw the long term consequences of letting this go ahead and decided that the fans may be angry now, but not as angry as they would be if their idol was killed. Considering all this, can you blame them for cancelling it? After reading that I imagined all the headlines, all the breakdowns, all the celebrities saying sorry for her, the videos, fans crying, the tributes and... thank god nothing bad happened :ohno:
Juanjo 2,151
Sad and pissed about this. I cannot believe it. In this day and age, too! People are still not free in countries like these. Ridiculous! Things need to change. ...Glad Gaga's safety's not being jeopardized, though.

Dangerous Man 9,245
this is crazy.... but anyway let's just respect others belief and i guess this is a better decision. I don't want gaga to be in chaos. "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."
