TSUNAMI 20,868
Its not on Gaga how loud she is, it‘s on ppl that spread the word. Now shes got even more publicity and she made world to know that shes right! if Gaga said “we should all live in disguise“ nobody would protest! Ppl are afraid of freedom cuz they dont know how to live without boundries
Bat 6,162
Lol, it's even on our news, people seem to spread this news fast. I'm sad for the jakarta monsters that were excited to possibly meet her backstage or just see her live, such a shame a small group of people spoil it for a very large group. dc1993 1
I really hope this is true. She'll make it up to the monsters who were going, no doubt. Im just glad she's not going to be exposed to the hatred some people are harbouring for her in Jakarta. Gutted for everyone *not going. :( fixed it ferr yew
Mariann 301
I am so glad that this show was cancelled. No need to risk Gaga's safety. I am sure the little monsters in Jakarta will understand the necessity.
dynamicdiana 0
I feel sorry for all the little monsters in Jakarta! :(
GianniVersace 1
I understand why she would cancel it, but jesus, jakarta laws are stupid. I feel sorry for the innocent people that have to go through **** like that there. They obviously dont protest love. No empathy for those who dont, hell awaits them. DanceInTheFlames 154
I was worried for her safety too, but I still feel so bad for all the monsters there. So unfair that people would be so hateful it's disgusting really.
gagaismywhore 1
I'm glad, such a relief. I hope the poor fans who had tickets can understand why this had to be done, although I feel so bad for them. :( For the people saying this is 'against Gaga's message, she should've gone ahead with the show' etc - If it was completely down to her she would've gone ahead and done it. But this was beyond her control, and I'm sure she's very upset about the decision. Lady Gaga releases official statement: "My show is not a conventional rock show, but a theatrical presentation of my music. And like theater, it asks questions, provokes thoughts and takes you on an emotional journey, portraying good and bad, light and dark, joy and sorrow, redemption and salvation. I do not endorse a way of life, but describe one, and the audience is left to make its own decisions and judgements. This is what I consider freedom of speach, freedom of expression and freedom of thought. Every night, before I go on stage, I say a prayer, not only that my show will go well, but that the audience will watch it with an open heart and an open mind, and see it as a celebration of love, life and humanity." Magoo 6
Gaga's team have made the correct decision. There was no way of making it safe. The police force that would supposedly have protected her are it seems themselves infiltrated by the terrorists.

RinoTheBouncer 1
Then do us all a favor and go buy a copy of "Talk That Talk" and enjoy yourself while sparing us of the trolling that you call "expressing yourself". I do whatever I please, don't like it? don't read it. I'm not a fan of Rihanna. It's funny how you call everyone whom you don't agree with as a "flop" or a "troll" or "pressed" or similar terms. But just for the record, this guy (RinoTheBouncer), he doesn't really care. I'm sorry people are insulting you, but if you really believe that the only purpose of Gaga's message is to sell records, then you should watch this http://gagadaily.com...-to-watch-this/ Although I think as a fan you should know by now that it's not an act. Don't worry, they can keep talking like I really care what they're gonna say. They started talking and eventually they'll get bored of not being paid attention to and they'll stop. I'm a fan of her music, I just don't really care if it's an act or reality, she can do whatever she wants. I personally don't need a pop star to give me self-esteem or to teach me how to live free.
