The best part of the show is when Adele messed up, cursed, and made them start again.

It's silly that people are riled up over the mic problem that wasn't even their fault; meanwhile Adele did that. I would have done the same in both Adele's and Gaga+Metallica's situations.

Nobody but Metallica and Gaga stans care about the performance tbh. Everyone else is focused on that mess that was AOTY and ROTY being awarded to Adele.

Hey Girl is the best song of Gaga's career #Justice4HeyGirl

Because rock and metal music have been trying to get more recognition and to be accepted again by the mainstream for a long time, so this was actually a huge opportunity that was screwed up. Very unprofessional on the part of the Grammys.

That being said, they all absolutely killed the performance! If it went well this could've given people a good opinion of this kind of music. But now most people will only focus on the mic issue.

Not to mention they weren't introduced, which was a huge missed opportunity for promotion for them. Which is why they were there.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Most of the comments i've seen have been positive because Gaga handed the situation really well.

Ignorant haters would bash her if there were no technical difficulties. It's not about the mic, it's about the hate. Some people love it and feed of it.
I personally think the performance was good. They pulled it off in the end. Plus the fact that the host didn't even make a proper announcement by not even saying the bands name, it's just a series of unfortunate events and Metallica fans have every right to be pissed off. Most of the comments seem positive anyway so no need for drama.

she's not gonna get backlash because nobody is paying attention to this performance lol. It's not even in this top 7 performance list: http://www.vox.com/culture/2017/2/13/14593806/grammys-2017-7-performances-worth-watching

I mean I liked it, but it definitely isn't being talked about right now.

Well, but they should talk, because it was great.

There's quite a lot to focus on with Adele, Beyonce etc

This has probably helped Gaga

help on what? She comes off with 2 amazing performances in 2 weeks: Superbowl and Grammys.

There's no blacklash and it IS talked about on Twitter and Facebook. They are praised because despite technical issues, it was a killer performance!

Fans are mad at The Grammys and rightfully so, not introducing them and ****ing up Hetfield's mic was a disgrace. :grr:

to be honest, the performance isn't really talked about, so a backlash isn't even possible
