As DIC is build around the build up and drop format, the build up becomes the chorus. It becomes what people sing along too. People don't sing along to the nonsensical drops of Rockabye or Sorry, right? I don't know about you, but I have a feeling that you just don't understand what kind of sound people are going for nowadays. It has changed drastically. Do you even pay attention to radio anymore? It's easily the catchiest, dance-iest, and though lyrics are a bit questionable at times a nice radio edit could clean that up.
