Their albums arent good enough then. Why does everything have to be turned into some form of racism. Its ridiculous and people just want attention. Both Lemonade and 25 are mediocre

You should really start thinking and stop saying everything that's fed to you. Go and ressearch Grammy's history and you will see that there's a clear pattern there. It is a very unfair voting system, people in the Academy have talked about that for years now.

Besides Aoty, which song lasted the most in 2015/16? Was Adele more impactfull than Bey?

Die. Lemonade should have won. This is so ****ing stupid.

Lemonade IS a good album, but Adele's 25 is also phenomenal, you can't downgrade one because you stan for another; appreciate Adele's music capability as you do Beyonce's.

I'm still pretty sure that the only reason Beyonce has never won AOTY is because she is not a real songwriter. The Academy usually rewards complete artistry, not just the voice or the image.

Lemonade is actually better than 25 in terms of quality, but 25 is really Adele's album, it feels really like her own project. Lemonade instead doesn't really feel genuine or anything Beyonce would ever come up with all by herself...

Don't you think maybe they are the same thing? Love and attention?

They are not the same , her first 2 albums were mostly Soul/Folk/Blues  kinda and her last record was mostly Pop spiced up Soul/Blues music. Yes all of her songs are Soul/Folk/Blues but she spices them each time differently while Beyonce is just repeating hr self with those RNB melodies (I can say rhythms cuz they hardly are Melodies) , also RNB is mostly popular in US.

then I don't know why you think Lemonade is repetitive and boring:oprah:

I think it was a toss-up between the two. I think they're both ok, so I wasn't really bothered about who won. Just as long as Justin or Drake didn't. I haven't listened to the Sturgill album so I can't comment on him. Racism comments just don't add up when you look at the evidence. Beyonce has been nominated and lost in AOTY on 3 separate occasions, the same as Gaga. They're just in the same club now. It's happened to  a lot of people, there's nothing more to say.

Good point. I notice too that every winner seems to be an act that is known for personal artistic integrity, even if it's not to everyone's personal taste. That explains why a really un-commercial, low selling album wins some years. That's also why the likes to BEP, Katy, Rihanna, etc. haven't won when they've been nominated. You have to be a respected songwriter in your own right to stand a chance, it seems.

So everyone is arguing about which album they liked the most. Some will like Adele's  more, some Beyoncé's. Just leave it at that.
