I am not arguing who deserved to win as I believe both did, and I understand people's frustrations when Lemonade fully deserved the award too, but it is rather strange to see people claiming on Twitter how this win is an example of black women not being 'worthy' to win awards, and yet the loser in question here is 22-time Grammy winner. I don't see the link here at all.

This performance could have been everything ... and it turned out to be so cringeworthy. How did they not turn on James's mic after the first verse :saladga:

Gaga was awesome obviously, but she was holding the mic more to herself and sounded 100 times louder so it was like Metallica were just Lady Gaga's band. I see a lot of people on FB pissed because of this mess and some are even negative towards Gaga basically cause the Grammys didn't screw her over instead.

Don't these shows do freakin soundchecks.

Two years in a row,

Gaga gets praised after SuperBowl,

Gaga gets backlash after Grammies.

this performance could be a career changing moment for Gaga. So sad and angry with Grammies.

MESS.

Our baby has managed to impress all of us again ! I am utterly enchanted with her stage presence and golden voice.  She was truly fantastic ! She brought down the house and I couldn't be prouder of her!!! She's a musical chameleon being able to alternate between a plethora of genres.  Next year you it will also be your night , honey ! Grammy awards are waiting to be accepted by you. Love you so much , my queen :hor:

The performance was awesome. Too bad about the mic errors at the beginning, though. It's not as big of a deal as people have made it though.

As a metalhead myself, I think that Gaga KILLED IT. You can tell she was having a ****ing blast on stage, too. I'd love for her to tour with a metal band. I'd buy tickets to that show in a heartbeat!

I really didn't like it, I mean she sang well as usual. She was great. I just don't like the look, (a metallica top, really ? they could have been more inventive ) the fake mush pit....the staged body surfing. I don't know, it didn't feel natural. It's like she was trying to hard, with her red carpet look as well. Her dress at the party afterwards was beautiful though.

Thanks so much  ,  but watching the performance that went down like that just ruined my sleep.:saladga:

Yeah :smh: as I watched it I was like "I stayed awake for this :neyde:". I mean, it was good but I suppose I was too tired already and what happened with the mic was terrible

So many other musicians have had much worse errors at performances! Also, many other musicians do not handle it so well.

Literally, it was a few moments of trouble (on someone else's microphone), followed by Gaga saving the day. It's a good thing!

I understand someone not enjoying the performance, since it was a drastic change. But it certainly wasn't disastrous or damaging for Gaga.

The Superbowl was enough of a career changing performance. The Grammys were a fun performance, and a very good one :)
