"Change the World" by Eric Clapton won both Record of the Year and Song of the Year. He beat out songs like "Because You Loved Me" by Celine, Ironic by Alanis Morissette  and Exhale (Shoop Shoop) by Whitney Houston. 

 

LeAnn Rimes won for Best New Artist and Best Female Country Vocal Performance

Toni Braxton's "Un-break My Heart won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for "You're Making Me High"

Best Rap Album went to the Fugees for The Score. They also won Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group for "Killing Me Softly"

Sheryl Crow won Best Rock Album for Sheryl Crow. She also won Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for "If It Makes You Happy"

Tony Bennet won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Performance for Here's to the Ladies

 

 

And the best award of the night went to Hillary Clinton for Best Spoken Word or Non-Musical Album
