Since all the hatreds toward Trump, let's have a throwback.

Religious people advocate not to have hates toward people with different religion, they encouraged acceptance and open border (for a particular country you know). And yet they couldn't do the same for people with just a different music taste or towards a fan base in general.

You're taking radicalized weirdos who spend time, energy, and money to whine about pop stars as everyday people who subscribe to a religion and then equating it to Trump's fascist politics? Girl, that's a whole OP full of alternative facts and messiness. :madge:

From a non-american point of view, most muslims hate Trump due to his view on the religion.

Yes, as a Muslim I can attest to this :oprah:

Obviously I disagree with the sentiments of the protestors, and I would criticise the thought process of these protestors, but I wouldn't neccesarily call it hypocritical

Firstly we can't generalise "religious people" and say "Religious people advocate not to have hates toward people with different religion" because 84 percent of the world population is religious.

Secondly, regardless of how wrong I think the protestors are, they have a right to protest against the political messages found in Gaga, or anybodies songs. If they feel songs like Judas are offensive and conflicted with their values they are allowed to take to the streets and voice their objections to what they see as an attack on their moral values.

I think you are allowed to disagree with the values promoted in Gaga's music (again - especially when it comes to songs like Born This Way I would obviously have serious objections with anybody who disagreed with the messages) and also disagree with the values promoted by Trump.

If those same muslim protesters also protested Trump, I would say it's because they would feel like both Gaga and Trump represented (in their eyes) an attack on their religion, their values and their deeply held religious convictions.

These are radical groups just like in the US you see christian signs saying you will go to hell in every concert. Singers like Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Shakira and many more have performed in Muslim countries and nothing happened we even have female singers in our country.

You seem very immature in the way you talk and trying to be edgy and cool for saying opposing opinions but your argument is stupid.

Same thing different tune.

I do not see any religious people (conventionally religious) being liberal to be honest so I do not see hypocrisy.

He's trying to ban people from majority Muslim countries. He also has routinely alluded to Muslims being bad people and the source of terrorism.

I was in Lebanon just last year sis, people know about him and his politics if they're educated and well read up on American politics :madge:

But yeah, if you don't care about world politics then obviously you don't care about Trump that much :madge:

Hes trying to ban 7 out of 55 Muslim countries meaning 95% of Muslims are not banned so obviously its not a Muslim ban.. he is banning countries with risk of terrorism that most Muslim countries banned too. He never said Muslim people are the source of terrorism but its definitely a problem in our community and he admits that America played a huge part in creating this by funding terrorism and from the immoral wars they created. On His inauguration speech he said the west shouldnt force their values on Muslims. Also, lets not forget its just a 90 day ban unlike what Obama did in the past when he banned countries more than 12 times and all past presidents.

Sis, 1) You live in the Middle East or at least a Muslim majority country I'm assuming? You should know that the épicentre of almost all radicalism is Saudi Arabia. They have the least amount of access to affordable education, the most inflammatory laws and propaganda media that is funded by the royal family, as well as a dying economy that fuels extremists into becoming radicalized in hopes that they can provide for their family. Saudi Arabians are not in consideration from being barred. That's stupid.

2) He has said a number of questionable things regarding middle eastern people; calling from a hat region as "bad guys" "bad people" etc. Do you honestly hate yourself that much to blindly ignore his subtle islamophobia?

3) He doesn't want to force his "western beliefs" on middle eastern people BUT wants them to subscribe to his politics and beliefs when they enter the country/do business with him? Really? And why is it that he has the most business relationships with the most conservative ME country? What is the reason for that?

4) I wasn't fond of Obama's temporary ban either. I was a critic and a skeptic on its effectiveness and ultimate role in the formation and normalization of ISIS. And it wasn't 12 times.
