Oh, what could've been! And Princess Die would've been on the tracklist.

Delulu Rogers 7,146
Like people have already said, a new batch of big pop stars will come again eventually. We're in the transition of the old to the new so that's why we have all these one hit wonders atm. However I wouldn't say it's all about the music and not the artist themselves. Beyonce, Adele, Drake are all still big power house names in the industry. I remember everyone freaking out over Hello just cause it was Adele and that was only late 2015. As for Gaga, her only option if she ever wants to be big again is to follow the current trends and do what Justin did, detach herself from the music and just create those gp friendly bops. SarahYuko 1,002
It's nostalgic to think back on those days. Early to mid 2000's was such a mess with the videos and one hit wonders. All I liked was Britney, Beyonce and BEP. Looking back at the Grammy nominations and performances, the musicality of their songs and even their clothes and hairstyles. Ugh. And with the breakthrough of stars like Gaga, Katy and Adele, the whole scene just changed so drastically. I was young but I remember it all well. This is the first photo I ever saw of Gaga back in late 2008, if I remember correctly. Back then, it was so weird and different. Every female popstar was trying to be sexy and this girl was straight up outworldly and posed like a damaged mannequin. I loved her from the first time I watched Poker Face. There will be another perhaps equally massive star someday in pop music. And like they all said, "Is Lady Gaga the new Madonna?" People will say (and some are already saying), "Is x the new Lady Gaga?" But Gaga and her current peers will forever be in our hearts, and will eternally be embedded in our generation's eyes as the original and best batch of female pop megastars. It will break my heart to watch their decline. It makes me feel old just thinking about it; like we've journeyed together for really long. It's that feeling you get when the ending pages of the last chapter are nearing and you've got that sick gut feeling because you want it to never end, and a part of you is in denial, still kind of holding on to a shred of hope that maybe they'll pull a Madonna and stick around for a bit? Sorry, I got carried away there
