This is back when Madonna started and every girl wanted to be like her and it still goes on, to this day.

If you watch the whole Virgin Tour on youtube, you can see it all as proof. And every other era too.

And Madonna has always been a proud, strong woman without apology. This is the official video for Dress You Up at the time as appeared on MTV constantly and she was on tour. It's true footage from her concerts, at the time.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

I just can't believe. I have been to many concerts. Pop concerts were always pretty chill. But again my reference point is MJ, Queen (with Freddie not Lambert), Bon Jovi type of crazy crowds, or eastern european stadium crowds that are wild.

Believe whatever you want to believe, but it was true with my concert experiences.

MJ says that he won't go to strip clubs where they cross dress etc, his tone is obviously homophobic.

Angels can't be homophobic. Sir, you're lying.

Michael Jackson may have been a great entertainer but he was never really that intelligent... Madonna surpasses him intellectually.

I go to a lot of concerts and I think people DO scream regardless of who's on stage. If you're a straight man seeing a more feminine act and let's say you took your girlfriend, you're probably (from what I've seen, unless you're a d*ck) screaming with your girlfriend. Music does something to people. If it's good, people are gonna scream. Then again I do live in Los Angeles where everyone loves music and it's a more progressive city so my view might totally be biased.

This is objectively not true man. Literally not true. Like please compare different acts. A guy cheering Taylor Swift can be like a guy saying "heyyy" semi loud raising his plastic beer glass. A guy cheering U2, Bon Jovi, Iron Maiden on the other hand mostly seem to lose themselves in the moment.

Like I don't understand how you guys don't see the difference. Objectively pop concerts are like snooze fest in terms of crowd energy compared to rock concerts.

As masculine rage energy of the performing act goes up, crowd becomes much more loud, much more wilder.

He's right though. Women fainted at his concerts - find me a Madonna performance where that has happened to a man.

Thank you, I was about to faint trying to explain people what he meant by those words... :emma:

Literally every show I've been to. Yes even at Taylor Swift shows do most people scream. We're all musicheads here. You can't assume that just because someone is a heterosexual man that they have to put up this hypermasculine beer-drinking "I don't scream for pop acts" persona. If anything the ROCK concerts I've been to are more of a "snoozefest". A lot of times guys sing but I've been to many shows where they all just bop around and then clap at the end. At every. single. pop. show - thunderous applause and cheers almost the entire time from everyone in the audience

I am not assuming, I spoke of my personal experience plus documented live performances. But it seems like we won't agree :emma:

Where did I say all of her concert goers were gay males ? Nowhere, I do not understand how you could possibly infer such meaning.

I have absolutely no idea where I got that idea from...

"Good thing is that Gaga has us, the gays  I am pretty sure that no other pop concert goers are as loud as gays of Gaga except for maybe thirsty girls of 1D or Maroon 5 etc."
