Oriane 21,183 Posted February 10, 2017 Share Posted February 10, 2017 If I had to do a top 10... 1) Paparazzi, VMAs (2009) -> Everything is incredible in this performance, the first time I saw it I couldn't believe it.2) Yoü and I, VMAs (2011) -> Everything is perfect here too, still today it's hard to believe she did THIS.3) Eh Eh/Poker Face/ragtime, Taratata (2009) -> This energy, these music skills, this pop/jazzy attitude !4) Swine, SXSW (2014) -> In terms of artistic performance, the best she's ever done, so meaningful.5) Do What U Want, AMAs (2013) -> Very emotional and beautiful, and the vocals are on point.6) Telephone/Dance In The Dark McQueen, Brit Awards (2010) -> Very emotional too, and the scenery is beautiful.7) Marry the Night, A Very Gaga Thanksgiving (2011) -> The vocals are heavenly.8) Star-Spangled Banner, Superbowl (2016) -> One of the best vocal performances she's ever done, made me feel patriotic even though I'm not American.9) Bang Bang, Cheek to Cheek Live (2014) -> Great vocals, one of my favorite songs and she made it her own, you can feel her connection to it.10) Angel Down, Bitter End roof (2016) -> Hard to choose a final entry but I chose this one because it's very simple but heartbreaking. I remember the day Joanne was released, I listened to the album, then watched the show and then I learnt she performed on the roof, and I was just incredibly happy listening to it. Even now when I watch this performance, my heart aches a bit, there's something tragic about this moment and I can't describe it. It's horrible to choose, I had to exclude a lot of brilliant performances... I could have included TIHTY at the Oscars, the duets with Elton John, Bad Romance/Speechless at the AMAs, Gypsy and Applause at Sukkiri, Applause at SNL (so underrated). Some other performances that I like a lot : Bowie tribute, Paparazzi acoustic, Lovegame at Dancing with the Stars, Teeth at the Today Show, Poker Face at Jonathan Ross, the performances at Howard Stern usually, Marry the Night at the Grammys and MTV, Yoü and I at Jonathan Ross, Applause at GMA, DWUW/Venus on XFactor and Graham Norton, Dope at the YMA, Venus at the Muppets, Sinner's Prayer in Nashville, Million Reasons on NRJ and Victoria's Secret, Orange Colored Sky at iHeartRadio I think.
