I used to until she started saying/tweeting cute things about Gaga and became a Hillary advocate. Teenage Dream will forever be one of my favorite songs, though. My boyfriend told me he loved me for the first time while we were taking a bath and Teenage Dream was playing at the time.

Nah, I don't mind Katy. She isn't really super interesting to me, but she has a couple of bops. The thing I find with Katy is that I'll like one of her songs for a couple of weeks and then I can't stand it, it's like a sugar rush - it's rewarding at first but then you get the crash that comes after.

Chained To The Rhythm doesn't strike me as anything that interesting though tbh. The chorus is catchy and I like parts of it, but it just feels... lacking in something. I've been replaying it (the chorus only) because it sounds so familiar to me but I can't put my finger on it and the more I listen the more I can see it becoming a hit.

I don't know though - I just can't help but feel like it's incomplete somehow.

On the contrary, I love her. The only thing I don't like about her is her live vocals. She seems a genuinely nice and fun person, plus she is a little monster.

While the lyric video might show some kind of social message, i wonder why (if she really wants to make a statement) she doesn't go straight to the point, like Madonna did with, for example, Live To Tell, or Gaga with Angel Down. Why does she feel the need to restrain and camouflage her art? Is she afraid of losing her audience, and by extension, a possible #1? Isn't that a regression?

Lyrics for this song are awful; and she has been getting worst with each era (Teenage Dream as an example, has better lyrics than Roar & CTTR). Production wise, this is Teenage Dream at it's best, with a different beat. It's the same sound over and over again since 2010. The thing is that while in 2010 it was new and fresh, now in 2017 it sounds (to me) old and dated. Her music is getting worst with each era, not because the production is sloppy, or the lyrics are worst than ever (because they are the same); but because she's not evolving. Time itself is making her regress.

as a human being, i like her. i think she means well and she's got a good heart / soul. not a big fan of her creativity or her music in general though. but she's likeable enough that i also don't hate it. my feeling about her is generally Meh. Just kind of whatever.

Teenage Dream (the song) and a large part of the album are modern classics, as well as Dark Horse, but somehow I can't stand the way she does music, it does sound like prefabricated or something even if she really isn't. It's weird, listening to her casually feels weird lmao.

The lyric video does go straight to the point. And I'm really surprised that a Lady Gaga fan is dismissing symbolism, for God's sake  Anyone who has a brain and is involved in today's issue can easily figure out what the song and video are about. Now, I don't remember listening to anything disco-like in Teenage Dream so it's not the same sound. And I surely don't remember listening to any social criticism in any of her songs so they're also not the same. I'm tying to understand where you're coming from but it's been hard.

They're just trolls who don't like her for the sake of it. I personally think Katy has evolved in her music. OFTB is different than TD and TD to me is different than Prism. I don't know what ya'll are talking about honestly.
