Sia is writing about being zombified and numbed of all the trouble. Thinking sh't is perfect when its not. Hiding in bubbles, like Americans assuming there is nothing bad going on. And then Skip marley's verse is all about anti trump slogans (the wall, feeble truth, riots, waking up the lions). I mean I am no fan of katy, but this is probably her most important song to date. Look, this was written by Sia, we should indeed see this beyond the chorus (which is an ironic way of saying that once we put our rose lenses we forget about the real problems in the world) Rock On and A Last One For the Road 🚬
badboymonsterx 541
I'm not loving the song at all. The lyrics are bleh, which means the GP will probably love it. Meh.

To think its just bubble gum generic lyrics is a mistake (i mean, 99% of katy's lyrics ARE generic and pop and bubblegum, but NOT this one, jst saying). I hope you don't really mean that...nothing to do with maturity because I'm sure this is very mature for Katy Hudson. Her entire career has been full of MANiCURES. At least one ARTPOP or Venus would be nice. The Chainsmokers look like Bob Dylan compared to this cliche cringey mess.

She is here for fun and I am loving it. Not everyone has to sing about break up or bad romance tbh. This song is fun and I LOVE IT. + If you are smart you will understand lyrics of this song. Just dance cuz this song is cool. If you don't like it - don't be bitter. Have a great day!

Wow what a novel and original concept. I'm sure that hasn't been done to death and been done better by almost every entertainment medium in existence. Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

Swan Heart 7,382
Deep lyrics doesn't equal good lyrics. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

Yeah who said it was original? certainly many things gaga does are archetypes and have been done before. Its all about owning it and twisting it and remixing it. I've read way too many people saying it's a generic song. I'm actually really proud of Katy for doing something new. (Too bad everyone is hating on it, they all complained about her doing the same stuff and now that she changed they are still complaining)
