DiscoHeaven23 35,007
Are you guys surprised that "Born This Way" is that most non-Joanne purchased song after the Super Bowl? I totally thought it would be Poker Face or Bad Romance. " Born This Way" is an AMAZING, ICONIC song, its just that i figured the GP would go for the other two. Thoughts? calmar 22,310
Considering she sang "no matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgender life" to Mike Pence, I don't find it surprising. 俺の勝利は揺るぎない

manicholic 3,694
i think it's because it's set in a major key and carries a very uplifting message, which we've been missing from pop music/culture for some time now There's nothing harder for people to do than admit they were fooled. Azor Ahai 18,861
BTW is a great song and everyone loves it. Only delusional monsters bash it.
Gonzi 2,800
didn't it spend like several weeks at the top of the billboard hot 100 chart when it came out? I would say it's her most successful song so it does make sense that it charted higher

Red 98,275
I thought Bad Romance would be it but then I thought it made sense cause BTW fits the political momentum + everybody already bought Bad Romance in 2009 If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. xoxo cupcakke 4,781
I'm just really surprised since I would've bet on Poker Face, Bad Romance, and Just Dance outselling Born This Way But I guess since most people bought the former songs I mentioned, they had yet to buy Born This Way or something Also, the younger generation who were still children in the playground at the time are in their teen years and they are all over following pop culture trends heavily. Like, I just can't consider myself a Millennial/Generation Y along with that group of youths. They're just so different to Millennials in that some Millennials did not even have a computer or internet access until the 2000s, but whatever group is after Millennials have been around smart technology their whole lives, and with things like Snapchat and Vine before it got cancelled, you could keep track of these social trends better than most people twice their age. So crazy to think about
