Oh shit, she saw the comments. I was hoping that she wouldn't and just be proud of her stellar performance, but thankfully she seems like she can handle a few trolls. Keep on rocking' boo. :firega:

She worked SUPER HARD to look the way she does now, made me so mad that she felt forced to adress the issue. She looks amazing!! and should be proud of her self! I really hate people that needs to pick on others, they need to check out themselves in the mirror before saying anything about others.

I'm disgusted and upset that Gaga had to see the comments that people were making about her body. She is such a beautiful and amazing human being and yet she can never seem to catch a break in almost any aspect.

I had the same thoughts about myself tbh. I feel that's one of the reasons Gaga decided to comment, and is that message so on point! This society is so cruel to girls and boys aswell, this is the reason we have eating disorders. Be proud of yourself like Gaga pointed out, don't let them win.

I didn't even notice until people started posting about this.

That little flap is just skin, like the little rolls you get when you lean over while sitting down. :madge:

losing you made me an autocrat.

I feel like people don't even understand what bodies look like in motion anymore if they think her skin moving around while she was dancing is in any way indicative of her being "fat" (and regardless, anyone who feels it necessary to offer up negative commentary on someone's body is out of line). And, as someone else pointed out, it's also the mechanics of having a waistband that tight because those things have to stay put no matter what!

This is the same type of BS that makes people stare in the mirror, poking and prodding themselves, hating even the slightest perceived jiggle they see. Our constant photoshopping and filtering has made people think that anything that isn't smooth and flat (all the time apparently) is a flaw. And that's just unbelievably sad.

(Body image and self esteem therapist here, in case you couldn't tell. I could be on this soapbox for days. lol)

People are really supporting her on this. Look at the comments + The amount of likes. She's about to hit her third 1 million+ liked picture. I'm glad to see this kind of response to such sensitive subject for her

I love her response!! We are more than just our looks, we have souls and a purpose!! The most important thing is our capability of achieving our goals not what other people think about our bodies!
