(CNN) - Days after a raid on an al Qaeda compound in Yemen led to the first US military combat death under Donald Trump, the leader of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula released an audio message taunting the new American President.

In an 11-minute recording, AQAP leader Qassim al-Rimi condemned the January 29 raid, saying, "The new fool of the White House received a painful slap across his face."

In the recording, Rimi also claimed "dozens of Americans were killed and wounded," a number starkly at odds with the US account, which reported the death of one Navy SEAL, Chief Petty Officer William "Ryan" Owens.Three additional SEALs also were wounded.

Rimi acknowledged the deaths of 14 men and 11 women and children in the raid, a joint counterterrorism effort between the United States and United Arab Emirates.

Well here we go. Trump's gonna fire back for sure. Whether it's through Twitter, ballistics or both

So dozens or just 1? :duck:

alternative facts come through

The leader that escaped the raid is 1 individual, but the raid killed 30 others, and one of our own.

I've become too radical; I'm agreeing with Al Qaeda :rip:

trump should've never done this. This is a failed mission and deserves the Benghazi treatment.

Trump is Trump. Male, white, rich as piss, etc. I truly doubt this will be as big of a deal as people made Benghazi out to be, personally. I hope it will be though.

It won't be. That's because the Democratic base cares about integrity, while the Republican base only cares about it to bring the other side down. That's why people on the right can go on with their corruption.
