Do you think TFM style Gaga is coming back after her success at the superbowl or do you think she is sticking to her current laid back style with Joanne?

During Born This Way and Telephone at the super bowl I really felt like I was watching 2010Ga again

I think if MR becomes a hit and she becomes relevant again, she may go back to her old ways a bit, how much though I don't know

I'm hoping the tour will be somewhat nostalgic, she could incorporate stuff from different eras while keeping it not too over the top. Like she didn't wear a wig during the SB and no one really expected one anyway.

"To those fans who are terrified that I'll never again embrace absurdity or the avant-garde, think again. That's my favorite thing."

By the sounds of this, Joanne's days are numbered :nick:

I think she's always been here she never left.  This era is dedicated to her dead aunt so it seems only fitting that it's not as crazy as past ones.  We obviously know crazyga is still here basing it off Super Bowl I think she's just taking it slow for a little bit

It's 2017 and Gaga hasn't released a dance pop album since November 2013, that's a really long time.

To be able to perform your past hits and evoke the nostalgia associated with them is one thing, but it's a whole other thing to create a new moment and I don't see that spirit in her recent work unfortunately.

Some people say things would be different if there was a better response to ARTPOP, but I think she should have been more thankful for the success ARTPOP did have. She decided to focus on the negative instead and that leads us to where we are today as a fan base.

Old Gaga never left, we're just seeing a different side of her. This new "tamer" Gaga has always been there too. I didn't find myself surprised at all seeing Gaga in her older, more excessive, glamorous style at the SB

Honestly, I think she toned it way down so she wouldn't be over exposed before the Super Bowl and we'll now see her more active than she has been during the first part of the Joanne Album, but less than the Fame Monster -> Born This Way time period.

If I had to guess, she probably also spent most of her time putting that show and the Victoria's Secret Show, and the Dive Bar tour together... so simplicity helped her balance it all.

Right, do we really need this thread? She has said time and time again "It's never gonna be the same as it was." She will channel looks and choreography but she will always continue evolving. The Joanne era is just like the others, new looks and music. And the next era there will be people saying "When is TFM or BTW Ga coming back"

Shes not. I'd rather have an ever-evolving and progressive icon than someone who lives in the past. Just me I guess.

She did, but Lg5 1.0 was canceled and nobody knows the real reason

She was addressing tour rumors.  Here's one article that includes the quote idk if there's a video of her saying it or not

She's known for her unfulfilled promises, though
