This era is dedicated to her dead aunt so it seems only fitting that it's not as crazy as past ones. To be able to perform your past hits and evoke the nostalgia associated with them is one thing, but it's a whole other thing to create a new moment and I don't see that spirit in her recent work unfortunately. Some people say things would be different if there was a better response to ARTPOP, but I think she should have been more thankful for the success ARTPOP did have. Joschua 532 Posted February 7, 2017 Share Posted February 7, 2017 Honestly, I think she toned it way down so she wouldn't be over exposed before the Super Bowl and we'll now see her more active than she has been during the first part of the Joanne Album, but less than the Fame Monster -> Born This Way time period. If I had to guess, she probably also spent most of her time putting that show and the Victoria's Secret Show, and the Dive Bar tour together... so simplicity helped her balance it all. She has said time and time again "It's never gonna be the same as it was." She will channel looks and choreography but she will always continue evolving. The Joanne era is just like the others, new looks and music. And the next era there will be people saying "When is TFM or BTW Ga coming back" Shes not.
