exoskeleton35 646 Posted February 7, 2017 Share Posted February 7, 2017 Like is anybody else still emotional over this? I've been crying all day randomly. I just feel very emotional over last night. I've been a fan since I heard Just Dance as a 7th Grader, and it just feels like her career has come full circle in its' progression going from The Fame - The Fame Monster, Born This Way, downward progression (commercially) to ARTPOP (even if We the little monsters love the songs) then back up with Cheek to Cheek and Back up with Joanne, which regardless of success on the singles charts, has certainly done decently on the albums side of things, and I'm not even bringing up her acting triumph on American Horror Story w/ The Golden Globe, or her getting an Oscar Nom for TIHTY, or A Star is Born coming up. I'm just so unbelievably proud of her, the Haus, her dancers, her band, her friends, Cynthia, Joe, and Natali. I have such pride knowing this is the artist I love. The one who sings live. The one who writes, records, and produces her own records. The one who plays a bitchin piano, and keytar. It would've been easy to give up during the ARTPOP era and her injury during the BTWB tour which was the lowest she's ever been in the public stratosphere, but she came back, and slayed the GP last night. Everywhere I go, Gaga name were mentioned, her Halftime show were buzzing and I didn't mind at all I cried last night, when Bad Romance performance started, it just suddenly dawned on me what kind of things we went through as fanbase and at that very moment, all that shiz just seems worth it as I see her fiercely being the commander on that stage. Exactly. As I saw all of those monsters surrounding the stage, it truly reminded me of what's important. We are NOT a fanbase. We've been through too much together to be a fanbase. Monsters are family ♥️. If you collapse 30 yards from the finish line that's ok because monsters will always be there to carry you across the finish line so to speak. Last night we finally got a seat at the "cool kids" table. Last night proved that the bond between gaga and her monsters is eternal. "What you and I have little monsters isn't just for a moment. I laid awake last night tossing and turning thinking about everything that's happened these past 9 years. The Super Bowl wasn't just for gaga it was for us too. As I saw all of those monsters surrounding the stage, it truly reminded me of why I Stan gaga and why I love my monster family so much. I mean to quote her for a second "what you and I have little monsters isn't just for a moment. It's for LIFE". The love she has for her monsters will always be pure and genuine.
