I cried for myself, I cried for my monster family, and I cried for gaga. I was so proud of her. When I saw all of those monsters in the crowd surrounding the stage, it reminded me of what's important. It reminded me that no matter what, we'll always find a way to come together despite our differences. It reminded me that we're NOT a fanbase. We've been through too much together to be a fanbase. Monsters are family ♥️. We got to be a part of history last night because there will NEVER be another performance like that. Last night was like we were back in highschool and we finally got to sit at the "cool kids" table. Last night reminded me that if you're struggling, that's ok. Monsters will be there to help you cross the "finish line" so to speak. So here's to the boy that wears dresses and the girl who plays football and climbs trees. The boy who plays with dolls and the girl who plays with tonka trucks. Here's to every "freak" who has ever been misunderstood. Last night was for you ♥️ I love you monsters. Until last night, I was in depression and I didn't think that I could get through this. But last night, when the Dance In The Dark intro started, when she performed with our fellow monsters, I've remembered something. I've remembered that I've a family that will always believe in me, I've remembered that I have a family that will accept me no matter what, I've remembered that I have a family that will stand by me forever, I've remembered that I have a family! We met at the Monsterball. She said she liked my shoes and I said I liked her jacket. We went out for ice cream afterwards and the rest is history haha. I hope I have something like that happen during the Joanne Tour haha Lol we were bickering with each other in the parking lot when we went to the born this way ball because I had my daughter with me and I needed help carrying the diaper bag and a couple other things and Mandy didn't want to carry them lol. Lol this older couple walked by with what I'm assuming was their grandchild and the older guy turned to me and said and I quote "wow even lesbians have arguments too". Dead serious.
