We are moving to NYC this weekend so we are brand new to the city and don't know anyone yet. And the concert is my early birthday celebration, so I'd love to celebrate it with some fun-loving Lady Gaga fans. We are thinking of having a dinner at any place that has a fun food-bar vibe. They changed the seating chart on Ticketmaster and Stubhub and seemed to move sections around on the floor a bit and... added a small pit area? I don't have the full version of the map from before, but for example, this was where my seat was before they changed the setup. I spent $450 per ticket for 2 seats next to the catwalk and ended up even farther away so that people who spent less could be there instead. I ended up biting the bullet and just buying the new cheaper seats because I'm extremely petite and actually wanted to be able to see. Now I'm reading some people don't even have seats in the new seating chart, it's insane. I'm trying to sell my old tickets but that's proving to be even harder than when I bought them. Why did they do this 2 weeks before the show??? For those interested I was A5, Row 19, seats 9 and 10. At this point I'm not trying to get back what I paid, just what I spent on the new tickets ($250/ticket). If anyone wants them please let me know. I was trying not to go off about it, but I sent an email to Ticketmaster asking them what was up since they were advertised as the best seats. They could have kept the same layout and simply KEPT section A4 behind the catwalk like it originally was, not split it down the sides with A5 so we were pushed out of the way. And you're right. They have $276 seats on there that are better than the $650 I paid, specifically because they were practically up against the catwalk. That's not right. They have a policy on Ticketmaster where you can exchange tickets of equal price or higher, but again, I paid more and I'm not about to pay the difference on a thousand dollar ticket. I'm waiting to hear back on what Ticketmaster has to say but don't even get me started on people losing seats all together. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
