According to Google, the Staples Center has a capacity of 21k and The Forum has a capacity of 17, 505. However, I read somewhere that The Staples Center is booked for Ed Sheeran or someone else. Also, Live Nation has had issues with The Staples Center so I'm guessing that also played a part. But usually when stuff like this happens is because of the date conflcts. For example the fact that there are three shows at The Forum, one tonight and tomorrow another one all the Way on December 19th.... this is probably so because they couldn't get a third booking close to the 2nd one.
