Some of my fondest Gaga memories were during the BTW era. I remember the summer after it came out, I was taking summer classes and I would just walk around campus playing BTW on repeat all day. Gaga was everywhere at the time and it seemed like every other day like 5 new interviews would pop up. There were so many exciting moments. I didn’t have internet on my phone then, so I would go to the school library in between classes to watch them. Or the first time I heard Judas, I played it before I wanted to watch Charmed and ended up not even watching the episode because the song was just too good.. Aura leaking was amazing because it was like a few days before school started so I could just listen to it on repeat. The whole Born This Way Era, as it helpd me through hard times. Having bad thoughts when listening to The Edge of Glory, but getting better with Marry the Night. My first Gaga concert. Listening to Bloody Mary when my dad left me and my mom. BTW is such a explosion of emotions. Announcement and Release for Applause/ARTPOP when I finally got accepted at a Uni to study what I wanted. Crying so much when she played Gypsy on the first time on the Piano - after I left to study at said Uni. Listening to Venus non stop while having realized that I had a new crush (it has been years since the last one). After Brooklyn Nights leaked, it played in one time in the car when I drove home my crush (and another ho) not knowing at this time, that this song will reflect what I feel now. I still get so excited and turn it LOUD and sing along and do the dance. Every time, Bad Romance is a party and my theme song. Gaga is my grrrl The future's uncertain and the end is always near. I loved it when Gagas website had a countdown to when the Born This Way music video was going to be released and I stayed off college to watch it the second it was released. Seeing Gaga live for the first time was one of the best nights of my life! And waiting up at 3am for the ARTPOP album cover to be released piece by piece. They are just a few off the top of my head. robboadam 2,250 Posted February 5, 2017 Share Posted February 5, 2017 Jesus, this thread is making me cry so much So many memories......I remember watching her on Jonathan Ross in 2009 and thinking how weird she was (I think that was my first memory of her), and calling her 'that Ga-ga Lady' in school - everyone was like 'IT'S LADY GAGA!!'. Little did I know I'd be the one standing her for years after while everyone else gave up on her lol. Watching the Bad Romance video and watching her perform at the Royal Variety - that was when my opinion of her changed and I started really stanning her. Monster Ball - first concert I ever went to, and probably the moment I decided I should accept myself being gay. The whole BTW era, so much iconicness and people actually gave her a chance still! Going further forward........going to Joanne's restaurant in the middle of the Cheek to Cheek era. She was in Japan at the time but it was so amazing to be there. Also, annoying my boyfriend when I woke up in the middle of the night to watch her do the Sound of Music tribute. Oh god.......so many memories. I've just realised she's practically my life. It was the most incredible thing I had seen in a long time. I became a stan that day Also the Monster Ball was an amazing experience as well. I logged onto my computer and listened for the first time. It was all I could think of for the rest of the day! I haven't felt that much hype until today!
