Also she did sound extremly good last year at anthem so i would not worrie about the sound quaility. Backing track since most of the song will be dance heavily but she sings live over them like on tour. Then MR on Piano along with first verse of TEOG :flutter:

i hope she lips it tbh, not here for disaster/struggle vocals on the biggest stage because of technical difficulties. We all know Gaga can sing so i dont need the validation of her live at the Superbowl :nails:

I don't really care if its lip syncing or not, whatever gives the best show. But I must say that with gaga, live vocals are usually better than studio versions.

There is zero reason to lip sync.

The reason people say there's sound issues with live vocals in a stadium is because they are one of 2 things: dumb af or lying.

When did a rock band ever lip sync in a stadium show - even those released for dvd? Never. Yes there's some sound editing after the show, but you hear what you hear when you buy a ticket.

The only acts that have a hard time in big stadiums are ACOUSTIC acts. And Gaga already showed at Baku that this isn't an issue for her because her vocal resonates beyond the plink and plonk of a standard acoustic act.

Gaga will not lip the performance and there is no such thing as a sound issue that would warrant it.

Not their show, not their choice.

She wont lipsync, her live singing is what make her performances so energic , and this wont be an exception. :firega:

I'm pretty lazy so i'm not attaching links but if you look into it it's a proven fact Katy, Beyoncé, and even Rock Acts usually take advantage of some sort of lip syncing or miming during the Super Bowl. Its hard for mic-feed to be heard above the roaring stadium, etc. The Black Eyed Peas sounded really bad and they were completely live (they aren't that good live anyway but still..), and there have been setbacks in the past due to "performing live".

It's not really based on talent either, I'm pretty sure live mic levels cannot completely overpower the crowd, etc.

One example:

So...what are your thoughts on Gaga being completely live on the Super Bowl? Do you think it's a good idea? Personally I applaud her staying true to never lip syncing, but I hope sound doesn't get in the way.

What a bloody mess!!

Bey sung live with a backing track and had instrumental breakdowns and what not for breathers. I want and expect the same from Gaggle.

I'm hoping the backing track isn't too loud, that seems to be a reoccurring issue with her. The only time I'd support lip-syncing is for certain vocal parts, like an extremely high note or complex run, but Gaga doesn't have any, so :giggle:.

Yea.... Bey also slapped the **** out of that microphone during end of time to prove she was singing live.
