Interscope has finally made all of Gaga's albums available in audiophile 24bit on HDtracks. I know some fans have been wanting this for a while, so I figured I'd post and let everyone know!

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

By the time you reach the end of this sentence, it'll be too late to realize I just wasted your time with a pointless sig.

It's just higher quality. If you use earphones or headphones that aren't high end, the difference inquality of the song file isn't going to be heard. So I'd suggest only buying music in this format if you have the tools (expensive earphones + portable player with lots of space) to enjoy them.

I have good quality headphones. Does it really make a difference? Are there test samples?

I think a CD is like 16bit when this is 24bit

Yep. Although you can hear the some differences without (especially if they did a good job on the production and mixing/mastering end). But it's not really ideal for that. I'll be testing Born This Way out, since it was very compressed as a final product, but this format could easily open it up a lot.

I have hi-res copies of Britney's In The Zone and Rihanna's ANTI and they're both really stunning releases. Lots of new elements brought into the production on Britney's especially.
