Morphine Prince 105,794
Good. I don't want a controversy over the performance. It's her time to shine.
Miel 15,009
While I don't agree, I'm glad she's being honest. And, like, I get her message of unity and whatever. She's not as radical as I thought she would be. Or is. Was. We'll see. 3 points in and ready for more

xoxo cupcakke 4,781
Okay but still make a statement. Try to use this as both a platform for your career and to express your thoughts and emotions about the current state of the country through your performance

StrawberryBlond 14,829
Brilliant. I know that a lot of Gaga fans want her to be controversial and I don't know why because controversy has never gone down well at the SB. Janet's Nipplegate scandal, M.I.A's middle finger scandal, Beyonce's Black Panther scandal. And they're all women as well, notice that? Beyonce got away with it because we take political messages so much better when they come from people of colour but white people getting controversial with politics is not accepted. This is Gaga's moment. It should be about her amazing songs and talent, just like every other SB performance. It's not fair that she should feel the need to jeopradise a comeback by making it all about politics. She'll still have a career when Trump is no longer president, so it's pointless to potentially ruin it all over a situation that is essentially temporary. I don't want Gaga's performance tainted by her saying the word 'Trump' during it. It will forever make the memory of this once in a lifetime performance be tinged with sadness and anger. She can easily send a political message of love and unity through songs, just like she always has. There's no need for her to say names. Everyone will know who it's directed towards. It's better that she keeps the message general. After all, Trump isn't the only problem, it's any of his supporters too. So, belting out, say, BTW, is a big two fingers up not only to Trump but anyone who thinks like him. Why should she mention his name and make it all about him? Many people embody his bigotry and any political message should be sent to all of them too, not just him. Keep it general, keep it classy. People will get it. donutellha 13,819
She will still be political though, just indirec t:sis: Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

lego 44,165
Trump's favorite actress Meryl Streep dragged him without mentioning his name, Gaga can be indirect too. Some sort of statement would be nice. She was never afraid to use her voice for what's right. FreePalestine
