I didn't even insult Beyonce I just said she could literally do anything on stage and she'll get praise. That's not being bitter it's being realistic. In your words "No female artist can touch her atm when it comes to performing" and thats perfectly fine but I still don't like her as a performer nor do I like her music but I'm not delusional I do think she's talented. I get what you're saying. But, it's beyonce we're talking about. She have worked really hard for the past 15 years to earn that level of respect and praise she gets regardless of what she does. StrawberryBlond 14,924
Ugh. Predictable. Watch her do another medley. AGAIN. Now she's pregnant, the praise will be lavished upon her on a level never seen before. And just a week after the SB as well. She's timed all this to take Gaga's thunder. First she announces the pregnancy a few days before and follows it up with photshoots and now she's going to be performing on the Grammys a week later. As if she couldn't wait to announce it all afterwards. She's a sneaky one, alright. By the way, that pregnancy announcement picture looked so tacky, I thought it was fake. But naturally, she got praised to high heaven for it. If say, Kim Kardashian had announced a pregnancy with this picture, she'd be laughed at. And for some reason, the announcement has caused an outpouring of joy among her fans. Can someone please explain this to me? If anything, it means a new album is going to be an even longer way away than expected and she might really cut down on promo and touring and suchlike because she'll now have three kids to devote herself to. So, why her fans are acting like this is on the same level as getting a new album, I have no idea.

Isn't every legend in their own right, considered overated at some point of their lives? Some people like her others don't. And, I think we can agree on the latter. Blueskye 1,087
The Bey-shade is so old now, I'm so sick of it. You can dress it up all you like, "I'm not a hater but... I do think she's talented but... her performances are *insert overused negative comment here*." I don't know what planet you people come from where even HER level of performance is not good enough, too generic, too repetitive, too this, too that. She's one of the nicest, most hard working performancers and all you 'promoteonlinekindnesssters' ever do is sh¡t all over everything she does, no matter what it is. It's like a knee-jerk reaction, "oh Bey's doing this, better go spread my hate all over it!" Oh the general public eats up everything she does? Maybe that's because she consistently delivers something impactful and worth watching. The double standards on this forum is rife! It stinks and I can smell it through my phone it's so strong. If Gaga was Beyoncé you'd all be w*nking over how much attention and praise she gets. You don't like her/the attention she gets, WE GET IT! Stop shoving it down our throats every Beyoncé-related topic.

Have you ever stopped to think that they're genuinely happy her and Jay are in a good enough place to have more kids? Lol people are so bitter in this thread, acting like it's HER fault that the Grammy's are the weekend after the super bowl and that it's HER fault that the GP praises her so much. Chill. babyboo 965
And this is why i think i cant ever stan her. Its like her every move is SO calculated and its obvious. Step 1; announce pregnancy, step 2: perform a ballad peformance and serve those motherly vibe (my prediction) at the grammys. Its feels so... fake and kinda trash her artistry for me. But whatever. So, why her fans are acting like this is on the same level as getting a new album, I have no idea. All though I almost never agree with anything you say about Beyonce, I have never really minded it because you have always given educated proof to back up your complaint. This however truly pisses me off. How is Beyonce signing on to perform at an award show that is the biggest in its medium, and that she is nominated for a **** ton of awards, a calculated decision? Adele is performing, is that calculated, or is that okay because she isn't Beyonce. Do you really think Beyonce stays up late at night planning how she is going to "Steal Gaga's thunder"? Do you really think she cares? She announced a baby, what a huge ****ing crime. If she ends up getting more media coverage, that IS NOT her fault. She doesn't force the media to cover or "Overexpose" her, she just does what she does, and the world reacts like how it wants to. Instead of worrying about Beyonce trying to purposefully steal attention from Gaga, how about you have a little faith in Gaga and her ability to perform, because this comes off as insecure more than anything else. She took beautiful photos, and she has been getting criticized, because that is a matter of opinion so it is fine to criticize them (I love them, but my mom doesn't for example, and that is her opinion vs. mine). And as for your last point, the beyhive is happy that Beyonce and her family are happy. We get to see someone we truly love be at a point of extreme joy. I don't care if I have to wait until 2030 for a new album, as long as Beyonce is happy and healthy along with her family. We have 6 amazing albums, we can wait. Like I said before, you have always been a non-Beyonce fan who I have always respected, because you had justification for why you don't like her, but you just made several very rude comments about her and about her fans with absolutely no substance behind them, and that is something that I am so ****ing sick of on this site. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
jxckk 959
I'm expecting her to do a ballad like All Night tbh, I would love a medley of the ballads from Lemonade since she didn't do Sandcastles, Love Drought, Pray You Catch Me on the tour. I'm not expecting a big dance number now and I feel like she'll limit her performances from now until birth (although she's doing Coachella in April but we'll see how that one goes). I don't understand the hate though, YES, Beyonce does get major press coverage whatever she does or wherever she performs but it's something outwith her control. She can't stop all the press she gets AND she gets the press because she is such a talented performer. She hasn't planned to perform to take the spotlight away from Gaga + does the Superbowl hype even last that long? People talk about it for a few days then it dies down right before the Grammys. If Gaga was Beyoncé you'd all be w*nking over how much attention and praise she gets. You don't like her/the attention she gets, WE GET IT! Stop shoving it down our throats every Beyoncé-related topic. Well, if a performance is repetitive, that's not necessarily a criticism, just a fact. It's not calling the performance bad, just that we've seen it all before. And I don't think I've actually ever seen anyone criticise Beyonce's dancing skills before, just said that she basically does the same thing over and over. I've even seen her fans make this observation. Being repetitive isn't the same as being bad. Thing is, when someone is praised to her level, it's natural for us to check out what's apparently so amazing. So if we aren't thrilled by it, we have more of an urge to say something as opposed to overly critisising someone who isn't held to a high standard. I'd debate how nice she is considering that she's stolen other artists work, dispenses with anyone that she collabs with once they serve their purpose, she and Jay blanked Kanye ever since he got married to Kim and she'll only turn up to awards shows if she knows she's going to win. Not someone that I'd call 'nice,' exactly. I think the niceness is an illusion she creates to hide the ambitious businesswoman underneath. I don't think critiquing someone's clearly flawed personality constitutes flouting promoteonlinekindness. That term has been used as a byword for "never tell the truth about someone." This is celebrities we're talking about here, not members of the public who aren't asking to be judged. If you want to become famous, you have to deal with the negativity that comes with it. But that's just the thing - Beyonce's albums have always been very average at best, to me. And they have to many others. So we critique because we think she's overrated. Her videos in particular are certainly not worth watching with only a few exceptions. No, if it was Gaga doing this, I wouldn't be praising her. I'd be asking why this new stuff isn't as good as her old stuff. Beyonce fans could say the same thing about the affection you lavish on her. "WE GET IT!" tends to be our battle cry. But you have the right to admire her. So we in turn, should have the right to dislike her. It's only fair. Or do you think only positivity is welcome in any situation? 18 hours ago, MJHolland said: Some people are selfish lmao? I'd question if they should be having kids after he cheated on her. I don't agree with bandaid babies. If she's got 3 kids to look after, there's a chance Jay could cheat again. It's very common for men to do this after becoming fathers and their partner spends increasing amount of time with their children and neglects him. It's not her fault that she was scheduled to perform, but she could have waited until after that was all over to announce her pregnancy. She announced the last one at the end of a performance, after all. 13 hours ago, Thomas P said: All though I almost never agree with anything you say about Beyonce, I have never really minded it because you have always given educated proof to back up your complaint. I don't have a problem with her performing necessarily. I just don't want her to be given the special treatment of singing another medley, giving her more promotion than anyone else. She should just sing one song, like everyone else. But she over-promotes, to ensure that the show's attention stays firmly on her. She engineers her media coverage. She plans things so that she gets ultimate coverage. She waits until other news dies down or just before another big event happens so she can be the big talking point. You really think she doesn't ask for all this attention? She makes sure she gets it by timing and media manipulation. Of course I have faith in Gaga to perform well, I just don't want Beyonce taking the shine off her because whenever Beyonce enters the room, the media crows that she 'stole the show' and she's all everyone focuses on. That's why I don't want her guesting with Gaga at the SB because the media will twist things to make you believe that she upstaged her even if she didn't. Everything's got to be all about Beyonce and I'm sick of it. Well, you're one of few fans who feel like they could wait. I know most of them will not be pleased if she takes 4+ years to come out with something new. Be prepared for her to lose some of her relevancy in that time. Well, you're allowed to be a fan of her just as I'm allowed to dislike her. Maybe some of my comments are a bit much but I only say them because I want to voice what so many others are thinking, telling them about the perfection of illusion that so many of these celebrities want you to believe. When Kanye rants and raves, I really know how he feels sometimes.
