Just let him practice his freedom of speech, and if you'll protest then do so, but don't destroy public property and/or stop people from attending his talk, which happened in his other talks. You would be literally infringing on people's right to attend an event that does not harm anyone directly.

We ALL need to listen to other perspectives. We can't come up with counter-arguments if we don't listen to other arguments first. Shouting and screaming "RACIST! MISOGYNIST!" (typical SJW response) doesn't help anyone.

We need to be the bigger people.

I agree with you mostly, but what can it (Milo) bring to the table of discussion without undermining a certain people or a certain socially progressive cause? Honestly, truly; what does he have to say that is of any benefit for America and other western societies to move forward?

@ARTPOPdidntflop It's easy to get carried away by emotion when it comes to politics. 

But really sometimes it can be taken too far. We all know both sides find each other annoying af but this violent approach will just push people into their echo chambers even more.

I would, I would want to know why these people believe what they believe. You can't argue with someone if you don't understand them and you can't convince them what they are doing is wrong if you view them as an enemy.

My father is not evil, my best friend is not evil, my grandparents are not evil. None of them hate gay people, or civil rights, but they thought he was the best fit to properly run the country. I do not agree with them, I think they are wrong and that man is a threat to our country, but I don't view them as evil for trying to do what's best for them and there family. As long as you have this mentality you are only going to increase the divide in this country and make it harder for the people you think can properly lead this country to get elected. You claim to hate this man, but you are spreading just as much hate and fear as any one of his supporters.

Oh, not only do you spread incoherencies but now ignore that there is absolute fear that the current administration as inducing unto peoples who actually have a reason to be fearful; you want to bring up fear, I'm not sure if you even know what fear is, at least in the sense of fear caused by political policies that undermine the freedom of specific targeted socioeconomic groups that mostly cannot fend for themselves

I hate locking world news threads, I like to think we are all mature enough to engage in - sometimes controversial or sensitive - debates and retain a level of basic decency. We can't be resorting to slinging names at each other, personally attacking each other and acting like 6th graders.

Maybe this thread will be unlocked later when tensions have calmed down a little - but lets keep it respectful. We can't have productive conversations and debates if we are just laughing at whatever the opposition says and hurling insults.
