DiscoHeaven23 35,007
As you may or may not know, Billboard's years always start and end in mid-November. Therefore, we are now over 2 months into the 2017 year. These timeframes serve Billboard's year end charts. So what are the top selling albums by a solo male or female in the US during this year so far? All 4 people above Gaga released their album within the 2017 year. Sales for Gaga reflect the sales that happened in the 2017 year (mid-November to now. First 3 Joanne weeks were in the 2016 year). 1. Bruno Mars': 549,000 2. J Cole's: 490,000 3. The Weekend's: 426,000 4. Miranda Lambert's: 260,000 5. Lady Gaga's: 160,000 (390,000 in total sales, when you include 2016)

Cuz we've got Katy, Taylor, Lorde, P!nk, Ed, Nicki Minaj etc, dropping new albums
