The time is perfect!

Could you imagine if she came out with even an American Life Remix reflecting current events?  Definitely would be ideal times to get controversial in her style...

Do your own research.

It's the dance Melania Trump does everytime she's reminded that she has to sleep next to her husband for at least another four years.

Spoiler

Isn't this a rumor? :oprah:

She was asked, but she hasn't accepted or anything.

So this is news referring to her being asked, not about her doing it.

But it says "sources" told them, which is not better than insiders

Rebel Heart is not immature but some of the tracks like the 2 i mentioned are just a joke. I didn't say she can't work for society but she can also give a lot of energy to her music and create something strong. She always affected people through her music and she has a lot to say.

American life is hella underrated and suits the political climate that's why i mentioned it.

I can tell Autotune Baby and SEX isn't my taste but despite that it's my Fav Madonna to date and one of the best albums I've ever heard and this album made me stan of her , critics also praised album as well and so many fans consider this album along ROL as her best works to date , I love how so many different kind of Melodies\Music and Lyrics has been merged together like it's a life time journey record , it talks about Equality, Love , Sex , Life , War , Strengths and ... I just love all of her albums but RH > AL :)

American Life wasn't really much of a political record. The video was, the imagery was but the themes on the record dealt more with herself, her struggle with faith, Hollywood, the dark sides of fame, there's no outright political message on it like she displayed in the video and it's problem the album where she uses "I" the most frequently in most/if not all her songs. Looking back, it does deserve the praise it gets but to say it was an anti-establishment record against war/politics really isn't an honest observation. The video is more political than the record itself.

Rebel Heart was always going to be half serious/half fun as Madonna described it resembled the dual side to her personality. You have your Rebel songs meant to be tongue in cheek, less serious, more ridiculous and the Heart which displayed her ballads, emotional output and personal songs. It was meant to be a double album until the label nixed the idea and the songs were ordered randomly thus giving the feeling it's a mixed bag with no cohesive theme or structure however, there was an original idea for it that was not followed through due to the label striking down her concept. I find songs like "Wash All Over Me, HeartBreakCity, Messiah" are better than some tracks than "X-Static Process, Mother and Father, I'm So Stupid."

THIS. :applause: Wash all Over Me and Messiah are best songs I've ever heard , I just pray to god she makes and album with this kind of Medival sounds and lyrics, when I'm dead play Wash All Over Me and Messiah in my memorial ceremony.

American Life, to me, is much more deep--lyrically. Songs like Intervention and X-Static Process are not comparable to Rebel Heart songs. The best songs made for the album were The Queen, Messiah, and Wash All Over Me.

I love American life too but RH for me is much deeper, joyful and somehow me.

She really needs to do something like this again. Madonna's relied too much on sex to shock for the entirety of her career and American Life was a really bold move for her and proved she could do a different kind of controversy. I'm not as bothered by controversy if it's done for the greater good. To say things that need to be said, we sometimes have to be harsh. Madonna has been quite fearless in her choices and now is the time to do another political-hued album. It would be a much better look on her as an older artist and shows that she's connecting with what normal people are feeling. The critical reception would be a bit uncertain, but she could always wait and see what reception Marilyn Manson gets when he releases his SAY10 album (which is going to be all about the current political climate) next month to see how far she should take it.
