DiscoHeaven23 35,007
Sources tell TMZ legendary songwriter Bruce Roberts, who wrote "Enough is Enough" for Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer, is reaching out to Madonna to record a track he will lay over the song. We're told Roberts wants Madonna to rewrite and sing the lyrics, stylizing it to express disdain for Trump's policies. He will keep Streisand and Summer's track on the song for the hook. Madonna would be added to the hook as well. A song with Barbra, Donna AND Madonna? Im here for it. Here's the remix of the song currently climbing the Dance/Club songs chart. (its so weird to see madonna as the young woman, compared to Barbra. It's like Madonna with Britney back in the day.) Hades 27,980
She should focus on her next album. I know she doesn't like to repeat herself but many fans wait for a more mature American Life type of music. She has to remind everyone why she slayed all those years. Ain't nobody here for another S.E.X or Body Shop.

Also doing a positive work for society is far way more important than focusing her on the next album.

I didn't say she can't work for society but she can also give a lot of energy to her music and create something strong. She always affected people through her music and she has a lot to say. American life is hella underrated and suits the political climate that's why i mentioned it.

American life is hella underrated and suits the political climate that's why i mentioned it. American Life wasn't really much of a political record. The video was, the imagery was but the themes on the record dealt more with herself, her struggle with faith, Hollywood, the dark sides of fame, there's no outright political message on it like she displayed in the video and it's problem the album where she uses "I" the most frequently in most/if not all her songs. Looking back, it does deserve the praise it gets but to say it was an anti-establishment record against war/politics really isn't an honest observation. The video is more political than the record itself. Rebel Heart was always going to be half serious/half fun as Madonna described it resembled the dual side to her personality. You have your Rebel songs meant to be tongue in cheek, less serious, more ridiculous and the Heart which displayed her ballads, emotional output and personal songs. It was meant to be a double album until the label nixed the idea and the songs were ordered randomly thus giving the feeling it's a mixed bag with no cohesive theme or structure however, there was an original idea for it that was not followed through due to the label striking down her concept. I find songs like "Wash All Over Me, HeartBreakCity, Messiah" are better than some tracks than "X-Static Process, Mother and Father, I'm So Stupid." Songs like Intervention and X-Static Process are not comparable to Rebel Heart songs. The best songs made for the album were The Queen, Messiah, and Wash All Over Me. I never said i don't know what the concept of the album was planned to be. Still find songs like SEX or Body Shop just bad. She had better demos left out. I agree about Messiah and HeartBreakCity though. Some of her best recent tracks. Ghosttown is excellent too.
