Poissonche 12,366 Posted January 30, 2017 Share Posted January 30, 2017 I have never been in the mosque, but I frequently go to a place that is literally meters away from it (it's the same parking for both places), and I almost went there tonight. Many people I know were there. Now I know they're all safe, but still, I can't think straight right now. I'm so ****ing mad. Another attack on muslims, deaths, and thinking my friends were in danger... This is too much. This is Quebec. Nothing like that ever happens here. The world isย getting worse every year, isn't it? It's good that they describe it that way, because it could make some bigots realize that "muslim" is far from being a synonym of "terrorist". This attack was made byย whiteย men against muslims. The story of the pork head on the door of the same mosque last June could resurface, which would show how muslims are treated insanely unfairly, and people all over the world could relate this to other similar stories, which could create some sort of positive impact on muslims. Sorry for being offensive; as a white, non-muslim guy myself, I know how hard it is to be white and non-muslim. Media is something more universal no matter the context, unless someone particularly refers to it as "X media" (e.g. Canadian media).
