Delegates from Texas couldn't care less what delegates from California want. And vice versa . And that's the problem with our country, even though it's in our name, the thing is we aren't united at all. Things like abortion that's legal in one state but illegal in another is wrong, and in my opinion all state law makers should get together and pass laws (along side the president, Congress and Supreme Court) to have the law of the land. And hell some states can succed and survive of their own if they could.

If she got out and joined protests and other demonstrations, that might undermine them. People would say she's just being a "sore loser". The most she can do without causing too much issue is to voice her opinion from the sidelines which is exactly what she's doing Whimsical bitch

Bernie us a member of Congress and did not run against Trump in the general election. The person that gets defeated always disappears from the public eye and public discussion to support the peaceful transition of power. Hillary is doing what everyone before her has done, putting country before party. She knows it is important that the country unites. Bernie is in a position where vocal opposition is expected and accepted. Obama and Hillary are not.

This is beyond pathetic. The purpose of this election was to win ELECTORAL COLLEGE and Trump campaigned very wisely. Plus, all these 3 million votes come from California, a state which doesn't reflect the values of the majority of Americans. Doesnt change the fact that its a flawed system The President is president of all not individual counties or states which means that popular vote should count That would be hard to do with seats in the house... But since under your system the President isnt necessairily always from the dominant party of seats, the popular vote could easily work Here in Canada for example it could never work since its more party oriented and the Prime Minister is simply the leader of which ever party wins. Theres no independants

The peaceful transition has happened, now is the time for the resistance to Trump. I'm happy Clinton has spoken out now and I hope she begins to get more active. The majority voted for her. It's better for the Democrats. She's so hated that anything she says could be counter-productive. Hating her was the only thing that kept his fanbase together. rumor has it she wants to become mayor of NYC. She'll get to decide over Trump tower

The peaceful transition is an ongoing process. It just started. It's only been a week! Do you not think that Obama disagrees with the majority of the decisions in the past week? Why do you think we haven't heard from him? It is because at this point, resistance from certain people would do more harm than good. Thankfully, they are wise enough to know that is the case. Unless there is impending threat of a nuclear war, I wouldn't expect to see much from either. Maybe during a second term, if there is a second term. Maybe some during the election in three years, but only with Obama then. Looking back at history, this is how former Presidents and candidates have supported the country.
